LiveWell Camas humbly acknowledges that our studio in Camas, Washington rests along the banks of Yakaitl-Wimakl (the Columbia River) and on the traditional and unceeded land of Stl'pulmsh (Cowlitz), Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Confederated Tribes of Siletz, and Chinook Territory and that the Chinook People are still fighting to be a federally recognized Tribe on their own land. Indigenous peoples who have suffered displacement and disease at the hands of unjust colonization and who are alive and worthy of receiving retributions and return of lands stolen from their ancestors.
